The Accident & Injury Insurance (Gap) is supplemental coverage for out-of-pocket expenses. The certificate you receive is the documentation representing this coverage. It does not have a group number or insurance card you may have with primary health insurance.
This coverage does not work directly with your treatment or medical provider and is an excellent compliment to your existing health insurance. Accident & Injury will cover up to $5,000 of your out-of-pocket expenses if your child is injured while participating in the covered activity. If filing a claim, you will submit the receipts and we will reimburse you directly.
